Half-Life Winamp Control created by semicolon --------------------------------------------- HLWC is a program that allows interaction with Winamp from within Half-Life, by use of commands. NOTE: HLWC is MEANT for Winamp 2.x or lower, but it can be used with Winamp 3, when the user installs a Winamp 2.x plugin controller, available at http://hlwc.thegrounds.net/Winamp_2x_Plugin_Manager.exe Current version is: ------------------- 2.6.4 Known bugs: ----------- The "announce" function doesn't seem to work for all users, looking into it. But try turning off scrolling titles in Winamp. The menu for the tray icon won't exit on some systems, you have to restart the program if you bring it up :( Installation: ------------- Just extract the zip file to ANY folder, and run hlwc.exe. If you would like to use the commandmenu.txt, copy it to your cstrike directory. (one probably will not already be there) F.A.Q: ------ - You must be using a version of Winamp lower than 3, in order to use HLWC with Winamp 3, you must install the Winamp 2.x Plugin Controller ( http://hlwc.thegrounds.net/Winamp_2x_Plugin_Manager.exe ) - Winamp must be running. - HLWC will NOT start up Winamp for you. - HLWC must be running while HL/CS is running in order for it to work. - This version DOES work with STEAM and CS 1.6 HLWC commands: -------------- hlwc help : Lists these commands hlwc announce : Says the current track hlwc stop : Stop hlwc play : Play hlwc prevtrack : Previous track hlwc nexttrack : Next track hlwc pause : Pause hlwc forward : Fast-Forward 5 seconds hlwc rewind : Rewind 5 seconds hlwc startlist : Go the the start of the playlist hlwc endlist : Go to the end of the playlist hlwc volup : Increases the volume 1% hlwc volume : Enter a number 0 - 255 (if no number is given, it will assume it is 0), change the volume. hlwc voldown : Decreases the volume 1% hlwc repeat : Toggles repeat mode hlwc shuffle : Toggles shuffle mode hlwc opencd : Opens an audio CD for playing Contact: -------- Email me at semicolonsquared@yahoo.com with any questions, or get in touch with me in #hlwc on gamesnet.
